PT. Union Metal is a manufacturing company producing high quality steel building materials. This company was set up on January 20th, 1971 located on 1.2 hectares land in Jalan Ancol VII No. 3 Ancol Barat, North Jakarta.

We have a mission which is : “To achieve self-sufficiency in the provision of steel building materials in the domestic market. ” To achieve self-sufficiency in the provision of local product, we have become the pioneer in Indonesia in producing steel building materials such as Louvre Windows, Slotted Angle, Keystone Plate, and Sliding Door Rail which we name Conventional Products.

To cope with the speedy development in Indonesia, we made an expansion in the year 1982 to manufacture industrial products which are corrugated roofing sheet, C-Channel and Floor Deck. In the year 1996, we purchased computerized new machines which are :

• Wire Mesh Welding Machine from Austria
• Clip Panel Roll Forming Machine from Australia
• Floor Deck Roll Forming Machine from Australia

In 1996, we built 2.5 hectares new office and factory in 5 hectares land located in Jababeka Industrial Estate, Jl. Jababeka V Block U No. 1, Cikarang – Bekasi, West Java.

In 1998-1999, we have made internal consolidation by means of increasing the quality of our products and services through ISO 9002 with a vision : “To become a Leader in Building Material Industry by creating the Best Customer delivery value through good Quality Products and Services.”.

PT. Union Metal is the first manufacturer who has obtained ISO 9002 : 1994 Certification for quality management system in manufacturing of Roofing Sheet, Wire Mesh, and Floor Deck.
